Exhibition Stand Management

WebPurity Admin - Monday, June 21, 2010

Exhibitions enable you to promote your company, find new dealers or resellers, meet existing customers and gather new prospects. By picking the right exhibitions you can work with the organisers to ensure that you have a well chosen audience that is right for your company. Exhibitions are one of the few marketing elements that allow prospects and clients to visit you in your own environment whilst also visiting your competitors - organised and presented correctly exhibitions will allow you to make your mark.

Nutmeg Events were hired by an American manufacturer in 2009 to support their European tradeshows. Our knowledge of technical tradeshow management along with our experience of organising events in Amsterdam and London enabled us to support their needs effectively.

The first tradeshow we organised with them was in London and we were able to be their event eyes and ears in Europe. Focusing on key deadlines and organising third party suppliers we even managed to find a meeting room at 24 hours notice - all at no cost to the client!

Taking Your Product Or Service To Your Prospects

WebPurity Admin - Friday, May 28, 2010

Nutmeg Events A 15-city tour across Europe Roadshows are an excellent way to bring your product and messages directly to your target audience. You’re in control - able to choose the city, the venue and your audience. You can fine tune the presentation to your audience rather than having to cover a wide range of customer experiences. Roadshows or seminar series involve a great deal of work - but they’re worth the effort.

Nutmeg Events worked with a client who wanted to take their software product on tour across Europe. The initial objective was to work with the clients on the plans for the tour - how many stops would be realistic, which regions are relevant to the market, which cities have suitable venues?

We then found 15 venues in different European cities, ensured they matched the detailed criteria, then managed the logistics behind the event. This meant we sourced and worked with any external suppliers that had to be brought in, briefing each supplier to ensure they were focussed on the clients needs, at the best price. Having sent Information Packs to all presenters and exhibitors we were able to focus on the details and comfort of the guests, allowing the staff to do what they do best.

Getting More Business Done At Tradeshows

WebPurity Admin - Thursday, May 27, 2010

Smaller business events are key to ensuring that your organisation maximises it’s ability to connect with contacts at tradeshows and consumer exhibitions. In some circumstances it is also worth organising these without actually having an exhibition stand - but that’s another story.

Nutmeg Events were asked to co-ordinate a series of events alongside a client’s exhibition presence at IBC in Amsterdam. This project comprised of 3 strands: managing their VIP meeting rooms, hosting a day of reseller meetings and organising a client reception.

For these events the meeting rooms were hosted onsite at the venue to allow easy access for any delegates, the reseller meetings were held off-site at a local 4* hotel and the client reception at a club in central Amsterdam. Each event required us to focus on different elements.

The VIP meetings required tight scheduling to ensure smooth running and a set up conducive to detailed technical business meetings. The reseller meetings allowed the client to promote their latest products and services and give a technical overview in a more relaxed atmosphere and the client reception was a relaxed informal party where guests could mingle with staff and build stronger relationships outside of the tradeshow.

A Classic Corporate Launch, Carried Off Without A Hitch

WebPurity Admin - Wednesday, May 26, 2010

Nutmeg Events A Classic Corporate Launch, Carried Off Without A HitchProduct launches come in all shapes and sizes, from 50 press and prospects gathered in one room for a briefing to a full blown 600 seater auditorium with VIPs flown in from around Europe, they are designed to get your message across effectively.

One of our clients wanted to host a product launch for 600 persons in London with a 5 week lead time. Nutmeg Events had worked with the client over many years and were able to pull this together and meet all deadlines and objectives.

Suppliers from set design to caterers to security were all brought on board, quotes negotiated and signed off quickly so that no time was wasted and the detailed planning of the event could move forward.

Guests were brought to London from across Europe so hotel rooms were booked and transportation confirmed. Bare halls were transformed into a presentation area, product demonstration area, press lounge and cocktail reception using set designers and creative lighting.

On the day, guests were guided from airport to hotel to event ensuring a seamless, professional start to the launch. They were greeted with a cocktail reception, wowed by the presentations then able to write and file their press copy and view the products. The following day our staff were there to ensure that all guests found their taxis and were safely on their way home.

Bringing Your Clients Together To Do Business

WebPurity Admin - Monday, May 24, 2010

Conferences are an excellent way of sharing news internally or with clients and distributors. They are an opportunity to bring together a select group of clients or prospects in a relaxed, branded environment. By spending time with your guests you not only get to know them better but ensure that they are absorbed in your world.

Nutmeg Events recently organised a small VIP conference in Nice. The objective of the meeting was to bring together 30-70 key figures from the Broadcast industry to meet and share ideas and technology, and to strengthen relationships with the guests opening the way to future sales

In this case the client wanted a venue that was unique, matched their brand but gave their guests a feeling of exclusivity and freedom to discuss confidential topics without being overheard by other guests.

Nutmeg Events advised on the invite text and layout, following up invitations to ensure that the VIPs could register easily and explain their individual needs.

Guests were met at the airport and transported to the venue where they could relax for a few hours playing Petanque or walking around the local villages.

A evening dinner allowed the guests to enjoy superb food whilst networking with fellow delegates.

The following day was a series of presentations and classroom sessions rounded off with a group photograph memento and taxis back to the airport.
